In Tile Match, you can only connect two identical tiles if the path between them has no more than two turns. This means the connecting line can bend a maximum of twice, so you need to think carefully about tile placement and find pairs that have a clear, relatively straight route between them.
If you get stuck with no valid matches remaining on the board, the game typically ends or you may be given the option to shuffle or restart the level. Planning your matches strategically and avoiding situations where tiles block each other is key to clearing the board successfully.
Start by matching tiles on the outer edges of the board first, as this opens up more paths for tiles deeper in the layout. Scan for pairs that are currently accessible rather than focusing on tiles that are blocked, and always think a few moves ahead to avoid isolating tiles that will be hard to match later.
